CRCC fund app Timeline

The CRCC Fund AppLICATION has been years in the making.

The ILA, USMX, and the CRCC Fund — under the terms of the ILA-USMX Master Contract — defined the requirements together and presented the first version of the CRCC Fund Application in December 2014. Since then, we have been on the path of continuous improvement. Today, all carriers are onboard — including the smaller shipping lines. CRCC Fund has migrated the system to an enterprise-level data center and implemented best-of-class data recovery.

CRCC Fund Application Migration Completed

The migration of the CRCC Fund application to a new, enterprise-class data center was completed.  Employing best-in-class managed hardware, the new data center solution enhanced performance, improved resilience, and a substantial upgrade to our disaster recovery capability.

This migration enabled the continued evolution of the application to continue to meet growing needs of the ILA, USMX, and the CRCC Fund.

Project Researched and Defined

Under terms of the new Master Contract, the ILA and USMX agreed on the establishment of the CRCC Fund and defined requirements for the development of a comprehensive system to automate intake of carrier shipping reports and track carrier delivery tonnage on incoming and outgoing vessels, invoice carriers on a per voyage basis, collect and allocate carrier payments to appropriate funds. Over a two year period, we worked with both management and labor to define needs, develop the plan, design the application, and create the data schema that all parties could agree on.
