CRCC Fund Application Migration Success

We are pleased to announce that we have completed the migration of the CRCC Fund application to a new, enterprise-class data center. Employing best-in-class managed hardware, the new data center solution will bring enhanced performance, improved resilience, and a substantial upgrade to our disaster recovery capability. At this time, all functions of the application are available, and the system is “open for business.” Please perform your regular tasks as usual, including:
Web-based viewing of voyage and container information
Automatic and manual input of voyage data
Automatic and manual invoice generation
On-demand reporting
This migration enables the continued evolution of the application to meet your growing needs, and we are confident that the upgrades will bring an immediate improvement to your experience with the product. Should you encounter any difficulties in using the system, please follow the normal support procedure. Our staff is on standby to help you with any issues you may encounter.
System Migration in Progress

In order to improve the performance and reliability of the CRCCF Container Royalty System, we are currently in the process of moving it to a new, upgraded data center. The new data center features highly upgraded servers and database systems, and sophisticated redundant backup systems located in two different regions of the US, ensuring the system will continue to provide fast and reliable performance. This is part of our ongoing effort to maintain a top level of technology delivery and support by having enterprise level disaster recovery and standardized best practice
When will the migration take place? This migration will occur over two weekends. Please expect system outages during these times:

What do I need to do? You do not need to do anything. Our FTP system will remain operational so that file uploads can continue without interruption. Please keep in mind that the system will be unavailable to users during these periods.
What if I have further questions? We will be providing migration status updates on our website, www.crccfund.org. Please refer to this site during the migration period if you would like to keep informed. In addition, the CRCC Fund Help Desk will remain active at all times during this migration. We enjoyed a productive two hours with at least 30 participants present and many more attending via the phone and internet:
Charlie welcomed the group and presented the CRCC Fund Promo Video
Paul updated the group with some usage statistics
Bret updated the group on recent changes and enhancements
Andrew discussed compliance and reporting
Paul discussed new tonnage and container reports and how they can be utilized
Eileen discussed exception reports that will be forwarded weekly
